A Mechanic Who Still Speaks Classic.
Most shops today can't work on a car without plugging into it. A classic doesn't have a computer to plug into — you diagnose it by ear, by feel, with a timing light and a vacuum gauge and thirty years of knowing what right sounds like. That's Rudy. Your classic is in the hands of someone who genuinely understands it.

Common Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you work on classic and vintage cars?
Yes — it's one of Rudy's specialties and a big reason people seek him out. He learned on cars that had no computers, so he diagnoses classics the way they're meant to be diagnosed: by ear, by feel, and with the right instruments and decades of experience.
Why can't most shops work on older cars anymore?
Most modern technicians are trained to plug in a scan tool and follow codes. A classic has no computer to read, so it requires hands-on diagnostic skill that's increasingly rare. Rudy has that skill — carburetors, points, timing, and all.
Can you tune a carbureted engine?
Yes. Carburetor tuning, ignition timing, and dialing in a pre-computer engine so it idles, starts, and runs right is exactly the kind of work Rudy does. It's a craft, and it's one he never stopped practicing.
Do you do full restorations or just repairs?
We focus on mechanical repair, diagnosis, drivability, and getting classics running and reliable. Tell Rudy what you have and what you want to do with it, and he'll give you honest guidance on the smart path forward.
